11-19 Counterparts at the Joiners
As my first show photographing with my new Canon 6d mkii camera with 24-70mm f2.8 lens, I was a little bit nervous about photographing anything in genre containing the word "core"! Partly because of all of the moshing and flailing arms, and partly because of shooting in such difficult conditions. Well I didn't need to worry, as the sold out show reduced the amount of windmilling going on, and my new Canon performed admirably.
So on to the show! Counterparts were supported by Napoleon and Polar, for a shouty screamy delight of an evening. With the Joiners packed from the first band, the night proved an energetic night of metalcore and punkcore.
Here are a selection of shots, as usual full set in "your photos".
