April 25 Band of Skulls come home
Band of Skulls are from Southampton and like many others from the area, they are paying tribute to the Joiners for the 50th anniversary this year. Tickets sold out in no time at all, and this Jack Daniels promoted event was packed.
Support was from Pegasuses a folk duo who sounded beautiful together. Their haunting harmonies had the audience captivated.
With such a subdued support act, Band of Skulls came out to a relatively quiet audience. However, as is the mark of a well practiced band, they got the crowd going and the night ended in a frenzy of moshing and singing.
Check out some of my favourite shots here, and then see the ones of including taken from the mosh pit in the see also link below. I actually managed to get a few good ones of the crowd in there, including an off duty Harry from the Joiners staff!
I am also excited to have had my images used by Strong Island in their review by Liz Parsons.
