Hi, I am Jesse Lawrence and welcome to my photography site.
I am a passionate photographer, striving to provide you with beautiful images. As well as the beauty of the photographs, professionalism is highly important to me, so that you get fantastic service and peace of mind. As you would expect, I use a full range of professional camera equipment.
Based in Totton, Southampton, I am right on the edge of the New Forrest and do a lot of my work in the surrounding areas, including Winchester and Bournemouth. As well as working in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, I am happy to travel and work further afield.
I also have a full DBS certificate, if required.
My Values as a Wedding Photographer
My values and the way I work as a Photographer and as a supplier to the wedding industry is quite important. So, here is a bit about me and how I view my business.
Customer Experience
Customer experience is massively important to me... it should be your special day and you should have it your way. And my job as a wedding supplier is to do my utmost to meet that. Even to the point that if I don't think I'm right for you, I will happily try and find you the right match.
Inclusive
The wedding industry has massively focussed on this perfect image of a wedding that it has created for itself. But I don't believe in turning yourself into someone else's dream. So I want to celebrate the variety of people getting married, so have tried to build a mindset to be inclusive of all body shapes, sexuality, genders, skin colour, nationalities and religion.
Communication
I try to communicate as much with my couples as possible. As part of the process I create a report with lots of information, which can be updated at any time, to make sure we all know the couple's wishes.
You Probably Hate Having Your Photo Taken!
It's not just you... most people hate having their photo taken. Including me! A lot of people have said that they love my photos, but actually the real skill is in making you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
As you will see in a lot of my reviews, I focus on people having fun and feeling relaxed as the way to get beautiful images, rather than straining on posing to get that shot.
Furthermore, I work with real people, who come in all shapes and sizes - you are all beautiful people. If you have any body worries, please talk to me. I will work with you to make sure that you are happy with the photos.
Where do I work?
I am based between Southampton and the New Forest in Hampshire, UK, and so I regularly work in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. However, I love travelling and have worked throughout the UK and even the rest of the world!
Alot of my work, especially portrait and baby photo shoots, require a studio setup. My portable home studio provides a relaxed environment in your own home, no matter how much space we have. As this is not a "hired studio", you do not have to worry about paying by the hour and rushing your shoot.
I am very lucky to be based in such a beautiful part of the UK, so if it is a photoshoot on location that you need, I can provide a long list of places, from mansions, to beaches, to urban locations.
