I promote inclusivity in the wedding industry, but "Gay Weddings" are something in particular that I promote:

-
A high percentage of my friends are gay, lesbian, bisexual, asexual and trans, etc. So if you are a friend and googled wedding photographers, oooh exciting!!
-
I'm an LGBTQ+ ally
-
Inclusivity is very important to me, in and out of the wedding industry
-
Same-Sex weddings have only been legal for a short time, and the uptake has not been as high as you would imagine - lets make it something more same-sex couples want to do!

Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire Wedding Photography
I am based in the New Forest, Hampshire, but photograph all over the UK. Because of my location, that means that I do a lot in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, but I am happy to travel. So if you are booking a Gay, Lesbian, Trans, or other wedding, why not check out my wedding packages?
A Happy Couple
"We hired Jesse to be the photographer at our wedding, and all I can say is WOW! This man did an absolutely amazing job, always in the right place at the right time to capture some beautiful photos.
Jesse did such a great job that we have been inundated with comments from our wedding guests asking for his details!
Jesse did so much above and beyond what he had to do, he helped me with my flowers, he even looked after some belonging for one of my bridesmaids so they didn't have to take them in the wedding car. This is a man who truly cares about the people he is working with and treats his profession as so much more than a job."

About Jesse
Hi, I am Jesse of JLawrence Photography, an inclusive wedding photographer based in Hampshire on the edge of the New Forest, and can be found photographing weddings around the UK.

You will see around my site and from customer reviews that I am hard working, friendly and great for couples who hate having their photo taken. But I am also extremely passionate about inclusivity, and work extremely hard on being accessible to LGBTQ+ couples.

Jesse photographed my wedding in Feb 2020 and I can not thank him enough for the wonderful photos/moments he captured! But the amazing thing about Jesse is he makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed when you are feeling very nervous and on edge about the big day! He felt like a friend at our wedding, he fit in so well with everyone and he also helped the wedding party get ready!

I would just like to say the biggest thank you to Jesse for our amazing wedding photos! My husband and I got married in November and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of our photos. Right from the moment we were engaged Jesse was on hand to answer any photography questions we had. Jesse made me feel comfortable in my own skin from our engagement shoot all the way to our wedding day. I would highly recommend Jesse and cannot thank him enough!!!
Struggling with planning a LGBTQ+ wedding?
The number of gay, lesbian, bi, pan, etc couples that I talk to that have an absolute nightmare with booking wedding suppliers is unbelievable. Talk to me about LGBTQ+ friendly wedding suppliers.
I fell in love with the wedding industry because of the variety of different suppliers that are, how personal you can make it. But when a lesbian couple who I am friends with were planning their wedding, they had an awful experience - suppliers making assumptions, and just not geared up for gay couples. This got me looking at the wedding industry in the new light - how inclusive is it for lgbtq+, different body shapes, people of colour, etc. The answer? Not very.

I am on a mission to drive inclusivity in the wedding industry. That means a lot of things on my end, but for you it means I am trying to recommend good wedding suppliers! From wedding planners to magicians, I have a list of great suppliers who are lgbtq+ friendly, so, irrespective of whether you want to book me, feel free to contact me and ask.
